Adelphi Selection Glen Garioch 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
About Adelphi Selection Glen Garioch 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in the village of Old Meldrum in the Scottish Highlands, the Glen Garioch (pronounced Glen Geery) Distillery was founded in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson. The distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland, and takes its name from the Valley of the Garioch, which is situated adjacent to the distillery and is known for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland. The distillery — the most easterly in Scotland — enjoys the temperate climate and cool breeze that are ideal for the production and maturation of whisky.Glen Garioch Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from barley harvested from the Valley of the Garioch. After the barley has been harvested, it is mashed and fermented with water drawn from the Silent Spring. In 1968, production of whisky at Glen Garioch Distillery was suspended as the area surrounding the distillery experienced a severe drought. Four years later, an incredibly pure spring was discovered upon a neighboring farm. The Silent Spring, as it came to be known, could neither be seen nor heard without modern instruments, and has been Glen Garioch's water source for over four decades. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice — first through Glen Garioch copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still.
This Adelphi Selection is non chill filtered, and bottled without any additives. Each bottling is very limited, each cask yielding anywhere between 100 and 700 bottles. “Identifying only the very best casks allows us to offer a range of styles and regions with our panel of professional ‘noses’ chaired by world authority on Scotch whisky and Master of the Quaich, Charles MacLean” (producer). This beautiful single malt has rich notes of chocolate and butter y caramel.

About Scotch
Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)
Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.

About Angel's Envy
After graduating college, Lincoln Henderson joined Brown-Forman as a grain chemist and was eventually promoted to Master Distiller. During his 40-year tenure at Brown-Forman, he honed his skills while developing new brands such as Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Jack Daniel Distillery "Gentleman Jack" and Jack Daniel Distillery Single Barrel Whiskey. In addition to being responsible for the development of new products, Henderson oversaw quality control, technical distillery supervision, and sensory evaluation. "I never regretted a day when I had to go to work," says Henderson, who was awarded Malt Advocate's Lifetime Achievement Award and was an inaugural member of the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame. After retiring from Brown-Forman, Henderson decided to go rogue and launched Angel's Envy Bourbon. "Angel's Envy is a lot of things," said Henderson. "It's my life's work. It's a whiskey of incomparable smoothness. It takes into account over 200 years of bourbon heritage an d mingles it with over 400 years of port wine heritage." The name is derived from the term "angel's share" ― the portion of whiskey that evaporates as it ages in wooden barrels. After tasting the bourbon, Henderson realized that the angels might want a larger cut. The family operation is now run by his son Wes Henderson.

About Appleton Estate
In 1655, a British expedition led by Sir William Penn and General Robert Venables captured the island of Jamaica from the Spanish. Following the conquest, Frances Dickinson — a soldier in Venables' army — was granted land in exchange for his honorable services. This land would eventually become the foundation of the Appleton Estate.Since 1749, the Appleton Estate has been crafting some of the world's finest rum from sugarcane grown on it's 11,000 acre estate. Once the sugarcane is harvested, it is fermented with exceptionally soft water that originates on the Estate and is naturally filtered through limestone hills. In addition, the fermentation proce ss uses a proprietary strain of yeast that contributes a unique aroma and flavor profile to the rum. Following fermentation, the rum is distilled through copper pot and column stills.

Jack Daniel’s Rested Straight Rye Whiskey
About Jack Daniel's Rested Straight Rye Whiskey
Jack Daniel Distillery Rested Tennessee Rye Whiskey is crafted from a batch of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley (this mashbill is the first new mashbill used at the Jack Daniel Distillery Distillery in over a century). Once the ingredients have been mashed, they are fermented with a proprietary strain of yeast and iron-free cave spring water. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled and the resulting whiskey is then filtered through 10 feet of charcoal. This filtering process, known as the Lincoln County Process, earns the whiskey the title of "Tennessee Whiskey"and imparts a signature, sweet yet smoky flavor profile.Once the whiskey has been charcoal filtered, it is matured for two years in American oak casks. "We felt like we should offer our friends another limited-quantity rye expression that's still handcrafted with the same passion and quality they expect from all of our products," says Jeff Arnett, the master distiller at Jack Daniel Distillery Distillery. "And we hope they'll remember that, as good as this new offering is "“ it's still just a taste of what's to come."
Jack Daniel Distillery Rested Tennessee Rye Whiskey has an aroma of caramel, vanilla, nougat and spicy oak that gives way to bold notes of cherries, citrus and rye on the palate. The finish is dark and inviting, with touches of honey, wood, clove and black pepper.

About Jack Daniel's
Born on September 5, 1850, Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel was the youngest of ten children. His parents were of Scottish and Irish descent. In 1864, Jack learned the art of whiskey-making from a preacher and an enslaved man named Nathan “Nearest” Green, who eventually became Jack Daniel Distillery’s head distiller. Daniel’s distillery —founded in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in 1866— was the first registered distillery in the country (at the time, distilleries were required to register with the federal government, and the Jack Daniel Distillery was given Registered Distillery Number 1). Today, Jack Daniel Distillery is one of the most distinguished and recognizable names in the spirits industry.About Rye
As American as the bald eagle, rye whiskey was first brewed in the American Northeast in the 1600s. Even George Washington distilled it after leaving the Oval Office, so there’s no way of denying its origin.
It’s distinguished from bourbon for its original and unique spicy notes.
By law, rye whiskey must be made from at least 51% rye grain, aged in new and charred oak barrels for at least two years, and bottled at no more than 62,5% ABV.

Espolon Extra Anejo Tequila
About Espolòn Extra Añejo Tequila
The process begins when expert jimadors harvest the agave after they have been matured for nearly a decade. Then, the heart of the agave — the piña — is removed and cooked for approximately 22 hours (versus the industry average of 12 hours). Once the piña has been cooked, it is shredded and the remaining agave pulp is fermented using a proprietary strain of yeast. During fermentation, Oropeza plays rock music within the distillery to inspire the agave. Then, he twice distills the wash through copper pot stills for approximately 5.5 hours (versus the industry standard of 3.5 hours). After distillation, Espolòn Tequila Extra Añejo was laid to rest in new, American white oak barrels, where Master Distiller Cirilo Oropeza kept a watchful eye on his tequila (and waited patiently). After six long years — twice as long as the legal minimum for “extra añejo” — Oropeza bottled the tequila at 82 proof, giving it an exceptionally rich, smooth flavor.
Espolòn Tequila Extra Añejo has a nose that is both floral and smoky, with roasted agave notes mingling with baking spices, toasted almond, vanilla, ripened pineapple, maple and oak. The palate is buttery and viscous, and leads to a finish accented with cocoa nibs, rich fruits, cherry, tobacco and honey.
There’s only one batch of Espolòn Tequila Extra Añejo, and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
